Personally, I think a world whereby we blindly follow the style of an “expert-by-association” celebrity is pretty boring. In fact, I recently read somewhere that certain celebrities don’t even need to purchase an engagement ring when they intend to propose, due to the overwhelming number of freebies they are so generously sponsored with. So often, what they’re wearing isn’t necessarily a sign of their distinct taste, but just another sign that every Brand name out there happens to know their name, too.
But that’s not to say that amidst all the “What shall I wear?” talk there aren’t some items that hit their mark. Whether these engagement rings were personally sought out or not, these are some awesome pieces:
